How to review drawings with your team in real time

A live review session puts everyone on the same set at once: markups, comments and statuses show up for everyone as they're made. It's the same idea as Bluebeam's Studio Sessions, and it works on iPad, where Bluebeam no longer runs. Guests join free.

  1. Start the session

    Open the drawing and choose File › Start live review session. Name it, and invite people by email if you like. Tap Start session.

  2. Share the code

    PlanDesk shows a short session code. Anyone with it can join: in PlanDesk they choose File › Join a session and type the code, or on a computer they go to highlinepropertiesnc.com/app. Joining is free.

  3. Review together

    Everyone marks up, comments and sets statuses on the same sheets. The Live chip at the top shows how many people are in; tap it for the session panel.

  4. Finish with a report

    Tap the Live chip and choose Session report (PDF) for every markup with its author, comment and status. End session closes it for everyone.

Tips

  • Your own copy of the drawing isn't changed by the session.
  • To pick up an ended session, open it from the Library, tap the Live chip and choose Start a new session. Everything marked so far comes along, with a new code.
