Common questions
How do I open a PDF from Mail or Files?
Tap the PDF, then the Share button, and choose PlanDesk. You can also tap Open inside PlanDesk and browse to the file.
How do I save my markups?
Tap Save PDF. Your markups are saved inside the PDF as standard annotations, and you can save it to Files, email it or send it to another app.
Measurements look wrong.
Check the sheet's scale in the bottom bar. Pick the scale printed on the sheet, or use Calibrate on a dimension you know if the set was printed at a different size.
A PDF won't open.
Email us the file if you can, along with what PlanDesk showed. Secured PDFs that the sender locked against changes can be viewed but not saved with markups.
How does the free trial work?
Tap Try Pro free in PlanDesk and choose monthly ($14.99) or yearly ($119.99). The first 7 days are free. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. Without a subscription, PlanDesk opens and views drawings.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
On iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then PlanDesk Pro. On Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings, then Subscriptions. You keep PlanDesk Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
I bought PlanDesk Pro but it's asking me again.
In PlanDesk, open Help, then Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I start or join a live review session?
To start one, open a drawing and choose File › Start live review session (PlanDesk Pro). To join, choose File › Join a session and enter the 8-character code from the invite, or open the invite link on a computer. Joining is free; you just sign in with your email.
Where is my data?
On your device. If you turn on device sync (Help › Device sync), your drawings and markups are also kept in your PlanDesk account so they show up on your other devices. See the privacy policy.
